Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR and administrative functions.
- Proven track record in managing recruitment, employee relations, and office operations.
- Experience with HRMS/payroll systems and labor law compliance.
- Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR software/tools.
- Conflict resolution and employee engagement capabilities.
- Develop HR strategies aligned with business objectives to drive organizational development and talent management.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes and optimize selection procedures to meet business needs.
- Establish performance evaluation systems and employee development programs to enhance team capabilities and retention.
- Manage employee relations, resolve labour disputes, and ensure compliance with labour laws and compensation regulations.
- Maintain HR metrics (turnover rate, engagement, etc.) and provide regular analytical reports to management.-Administration & Operations
- Manage daily office operations (procurement, equipment maintenance, vendor management, etc.).
- Maintain company records, contracts, and document management systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Liaise with government agencies (e.g. MIDA [Malaysian Investment Development Authority]) for compliance matters.
- Assist in developing administrative policies and optimizing operational processes.-Cross-functional Collaboration
- Serve as communication hub for internal meetings, documentation, and presentations (in English and Mandarin).
- Support headquarters or ad-hoc projects (e.g. new factory setup, government audits).
