Oversee the implementation of human resources policies, procedures, and practices, including the development and maintenance of job descriptions for all staff.
  • Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal company policies.
  • Establish and maintain a positive, healthy, and safe work environment in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection, particularly for non-executive roles.
  • Handle employee disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure proper onboarding and orientation for all new hires, including mandatory trainings (e.g., food safety-related training).
  • Develop and implement training plans, and maintain accurate training records.
  • Lead talent development initiatives to support employee growth and organizational objectives.
  • Supervise and manage HR executives, providing guidance, coaching, and performance monitoring.
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation, including employment letters, staff movement records, attendance, leave, and compensation.
  • Oversee full-spectrum payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB).
  • Liaise with statutory bodies and ensure timely submission of required reports and payments.
  • Report to the Food Safety Team Leader on issues related to typhoid vaccination and visitor control.
  • Coordinate new joiners’ workstation setup with necessary office equipment.
  • Manage overall office administration effectively.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior or designated personnel.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, with strong exposure to payroll, statutory compliance, and people management.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, PCB).
  • Proven experience in handling HR compliance, audits, and regulatory matters.
  • Hands-on experience in full-spectrum payroll processing, including statutory submissions.
  • Familiarity with HR2000 iPayroll system will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to manage a team and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to handle confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking employees.
