Human Resources Specialist

This role reports directly to the Chief Talent Officer and works closely with managers across departments to build strong, scalable, and people-centric systems.

What You'll Do (Based on Your Core Strengths)
You will take the lead in at least 2-3 of the following HR areas based on your background and interests:
HR Operations & Payroll- Handle end-to-end payroll processes, HRIS updates, and compliance
- Maintain employee records, ensure statutory contributions and monthly reporting
- Support salary benchmarking, C&B program execution, and employee benefits administration
- Assist in designing fair and competitive total rewards structures
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand needs and enhance employer branding
- Coordinate training plans, track learning progress, and support internal learning systems
- Plan employee engagement activities that align with company values and culture
- Contribute to performance management systems (KPI design, reviews, improvement plans)
- Support competency mapping and leadership development initiatives as well as succession planning.
- 3–6 years of HR experience, with proven strengths in at least 2-3 functional areas listed above
- Hands-on, independent, and willing and capable to build systems and processes
- Excellent communication and people skills. Able to converse in Mandarin Language will be a plus.
- Organized, analytical, and able to juggle priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Knowledge of Malaysian employment law and HRIS tools is a plus
You’ll work side-by-side with the Chief Talent Officer to shape HR foundations—not just maintain them. You’ll also partner with managers to bring strategy to life at the ground level, making real impact across functions.
Career Growth Path
This role is designed to grow into a Senior HR Specialist or HR Lead, with potential to take on group-wide responsibilities in payroll, performance, talent, or OD as AZEO or its Group expands.
