Technical sales manager (north - dairies)

We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Manager for one of the global MNC players in the FMCG dairy space. This role will allow you to be the technical expert who walks into a bakery or central kitchen, understand their production challenges, and demonstrate why our client's dairy solutions are superior.

• Reporting to: Food Service Director MYSG
• Team size: sole contributor, managing distributor salesmen
• Join a global European dairy giant and one of the world's largest producers of high-quality dairy products to champion their business in the Northern Region (Penang, Kedah, Perak)

• Consultative Solution Selling: Act as the product expert for the Northern region. You will visit key accounts (Industrial Bakeries, QSRs, HORECA) to demonstrate product applications and solve their technical pain points.
• Distributor Management: Partner closely with the appointed national distributor's sales team in the North, guiding them to close deals by providing the technical expertise that generic sales reps cannot offer.
• Unlock Key Accounts: Identify and convert high-potential customers by running product demos, R&D trials, and workshops that prove the value of the portfolio.
• Market Intelligence: Be the eyes and ears on the ground, identifying trends and opportunities in the bakery and food manufacturing sectors.

• Degree in Food Science, Culinology, or a Culinary Arts diploma is highly preferred. Or, the equivalent in technical sales experience within the Food Service/Ingredients/Dairy industries.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Technical Sales or Business Development (R&D) within the Food Service/Ingredients industry. Experience in the Dairy, Bakery (flour/yeast/fats), or Chocolate categories is a distinct advantage.
• Experience working with or managing national distributors is desirable but not essential. You know how to motivate and equip a partner's sales team to sell for you.
• An adaptable and independent individual who can apply consultative problem-solving appraoches to bring added value to clients.
