- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual and computerized systems, ensuring real-time stock visibility.
- Perform routine stock control activities, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and reconciliation to minimize discrepancies and prevent stockouts.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to inventory movements, including goods received notes, delivery orders, and stock adjustment forms.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels, generate reports, and analyze inventory data to optimize stock control processes.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders and resolve any inventory-related issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or computerized systems, ensuring real-time visibility of stock levels.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and packing slips, documenting any discrepancies or damages.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations within the warehouse, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
- Prepare and issue materials to internal departments or external customers based on approved requisitions or orders, ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to reconcile physical inventory with system records, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that stored materials meet specified standards and are protected from damage or deterioration.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move and handle materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies related to warehouse operations and material handling.
