Head of Quality Management

Our respected client is seeking for a highly motivated and professional individual for the role Head of Quality Management.

Job scope:

1. Common

• Effectively Manage HQC MYS Quality management sections.
• Establish, monitor, report of KPI's as well as quality deviations in timely manner to the HOD.
• Ensure continuous of development of quality resources to enhance quality awareness and skills to meet/exceed expected competency.
• Drive continuous improvement of the incoming material and product quality to improve manufacturing cost.

1. IQA

• Communicate and interaction with Regional Supplier Quality Management team whenever is required.
• Enhance incoming quality to reduce process fluctuation and sustaining stabilized trend.
• Drive supplier process improvement initiatives to improve incoming material quality, productivity damage, operation effectiveness.

1. IPQA

• Develop Quality Alarm System to surface out internal/external failures/ (potential) deviations to related parties and initiate for improvements with effective executions by teaming up with related peers.
• Audit production/process/equipment control parameter to enhance quality within control limit.
• Measurement tool performance management (Calibration).
• Internal qualification procedure management with PCRB/Steering procedure.

1. OQA

• Manage/Enhance outgoing quality for customer satisfaction.
• Development outgoing quality control with effective executions by teaming up with related teams.
• Drive outgoing quality measurement tool performance improvement and developing new source for enhancement.
• Product outgoing specification criteria management and revising for quality enhancement.

1. CQE

• Establish, enhance and improve Reliability and Customer Claim management, system in alignment with set goals.
• Drive related team to analysis root cause and corrective action about cell claim and sustaining improvement quality to enhance cell quality.
• Management of module claim and warranty provision.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry/Physics/Applied Science or related.
• In-depth understanding of solar cell production processes with at least 7 years of experience in the PV industry.
• At least 3 years in managerial position or section leader position.
• Familiar with ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO45001 Standards, QC Tools, Kaizen, 5S, 8D, Sampling plans, Statistical Analysis/DOE.
• Preferably Certified Lead Assessor/Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer/Manager.
• Effective communication and training skills.
• Leadership qualities, supervisory capabilities and the ability to motivate member for quality related task.
• Experience in continuous improvement methods, knowledge of material and demonstrated experience in implementing lean manufacturing, Six sigma methodologies.
• Managerial skills to utilize available resources effectively.
• Proficiency in the English & Mandarin is a must.
