Senior Lecturer of Medicine (Grade DU51) - Alor Setar

Candidates must meet the following qualifications;

• Malaysian citizen; and
• Not more than 65 years old at the time of appointment; and

Qualifications for Senior Lecturer of Medicine (Grade DU51):

• i. Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Medicine and a Master’s Degree in the relevant field, both recognized by the Government from local Institutions of Higher Learning or a qualification recognized as equivalent.The candidate must also be fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council; or
• ii. Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Medicine and a medical specialty qualification in the relevant field, recognized by the Government from local Institutions of Higher Learning or a qualification recognized as equivalent.The candidate must also be fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council; or
• iii. Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Medicine and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree in the relevant field, recognized by the Government from local Institutions of Higher Learning or a qualification recognized as equivalent.The candidate must also be fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council.
• iv. Candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience as a medical officer in public or private hospitals/medical centres, or as a medical lecturer in Public Institutions of Higher Learning (IPTA), Private Institutions of Higher Learning (IPTS), or both.
• v. Candidate must demonstrate interpersonal skills, effective communication, and high dedication as an educator.

The candidate must also be actively involved in research, consultancy, publication, and community service activities.
