Associate Professor of Medicine (Grade DU53) - Alor Setar

Candidates must meet the following qualifications;

• i. Malaysian citizen; and
• ii. Not more than 65 years old at the time of appointment; and

Qualifications for Associate Professor of Medicine (Grade DU53):

• i. The candidate must possess the qualifications stated in paragraph 1 and 2 (i), (ii), or (iii), which include a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and either a Master’s Degree, a medical specialty qualification, or a PhD in a relevant field, all recognized by the Government and fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council.
• ii. The candidate must have at least twelve (12) years of relevant experience as a medical officer in public or private hospitals/medical centres, or as a medical lecturer in Public Institutions of Higher Learning (IPTA), Private Institutions of Higher Learning (IPTS), or both.
• iii. The candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and high dedication as an educator, and must be actively involved in research, consultancy, publication, and community service activities.
• iv. The candidate must exhibit a very outstanding level of academic or medical excellence.
• v. The candidate must have extensive relevant experience in the field, in addition to the required minimum years of service.
