Operations Executive (Export & Supply Chain)

Role Summary

The Operations Executive is responsible for ensuring smooth end-to-end execution of durian handling, from sourcing coordination to processing, packing, and export logistics. This role is critical in maintaining product quality, timeline, and compliance for both local and international deliveries.

• *Operations & Processing*
• Coordinate daily operations including sorting, grading, packing, and storage
• Ensure adherence to SOPs for handling fresh and frozen durian
• Monitor stock levels, inventory movement, and wastage control
• *Quality Control Support*
• Work closely with QC team to ensure grading standards are met
• Flag inconsistencies or quality issues immediately
• Maintain documentation of quality checks and rejection rates
• *Logistics & Export Coordination*
• Arrange shipments (air/sea) and coordinate with logistics partners
• Prepare and verify export documentation (invoices, packing lists, permits, health certs)
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to clients
• *Supplier & Warehouse Coordination*
• Liaise with suppliers, orchard partners, and warehouse teams
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of durian stock
• Support procurement planning based on demand forecast
• *Process Improvement*
• Identify inefficiencies in operations and suggest improvements
• Assist in implementing better workflow systems and cost control measures
• Familiar with export processes is a strong advantage
• Strong attention to detail (especially for quality control)
• Experience in operations/logistics/food supply chain preferred
• Able to work in fast-paced, seasonal environment
