About Cove Circuit
Cove Circuit is a Malaysia-based esports and gaming entertainment company operating sim racing, console, and PC gaming venues.
We currently operate branches in Bandar SunwayandCyberjaya, with daily retail operations running from afternoon until late night.
We are looking for a Retail Operations Executive to help manage and improve day-to-day branch operations.
This role is not a desk-only admin job. It is for someone who can follow up, chase people, check details, visit branches, and make sure issues are properly closed.
Role Summary
You will support Cove Circuit’s retail operations across both branches.
You will work with Team Leaders, Supervisors, Part-Timers, Admin, and Management to ensure branch operations run properly.
Your main job is to make sure branches are staffed, issues are followed up, payroll inputs are checked, SOPs are followed, and problems do not get ignored.
Key Responsibilities
Branch Operations- Follow up with Team Leaders and Supervisors on daily branch operations
- Track branch issues, repairs, cleaning needs, customer complaints, and staffing gaps
- Conduct branch visits and operational spot checks
- Ensure branch SOPs are followed
- Help identify repeated branch problems and propose practical fixes
- Escalate serious issues clearly to management
- Check part-timer attendance and payroll inputs submitted by Team Leaders
- Support Team Leaders with part-timer hiring and interview coordination
- Monitor staff lateness, no-shows, and branch manpower issues
- Support retail staff discipline follow-up when needed
- Coordinate with Admin for payroll, claims, and records
- Maintain simple trackers for retail issues and pending tasks
- Follow up until issues are properly closed
- Communicate clearly through WhatsApp, calls, and Google Sheets
- Make sure important branch matters do not get missed
Working Style and Flexibility
This role is based around retail operations, so the schedule is not a normal 9-to-6 office rhythm.
You may need to support selected weekends, late operational issues, or urgent branch escalations when needed.
However, this is not an “always online” role.
Urgent matters include:
- branch cannot open or close properly
- staff no-show affects operations
- payment or booking issue affects customers
- serious customer complaint
- equipment issue affecting customer experience
- safety or security issue
