Mechanical engineer

We are currently representing a client, leading global provider of advanced industrial manufacturing solutions, as they expand their PE (Process Engineering) department. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to drive the design, development, and optimization of complex mechanical systems and automated machinery.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing projects from concept to completion, ensuring all mechanical designs meet high-performance, cost-efficiency, and safety standards within a high-volume production environment.

• System Design & Development: Research, design, and install mechanical and thermal systems, ranging from everyday tools to complex industrial machinery.
• Process Documentation: Lead the preparation, formal issuance, and training for critical process documents, including flow charts, work instructions, and inspection procedures.
• Optimization & Improvement: Propose and lead mechanical design improvements and optimization trials to enhance product pass rates and reduce equipment failure.
• Fixture Engineering: Design, manufacture, test, and deliver production-related fixtures and tooling on schedule to support manufacturing needs.
• Technical Oversight: Provide professional input on the selection, installation, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment while ensuring compliance with ISO audit standards. ...

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design, equipment maintenance, or manufacturing process engineering.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Computer-Aided Design (CAD), thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
• Methodology Expertise: Skilled in industrial problem-solving and quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, and PDCA.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) is required for this role to effectively collaborate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and manage technical documentation.
• Soft Skills: Proven ability in project management, cross-functional teamwork (R&D, Procurement, Quality), and the ability to train shop floor staff on mechanical processes.
