Job Summary:
The HR Executive is responsible for managing a broad range of Human Resource and administrative functions. This role plays a key part in supporting HR operations, ensuring payroll and statutory compliance, and maintaining a productive and compliant workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Administer employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies.
- Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle statutory contributions and payments (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax) and ensure compliance with local labour regulations.
- Prepare and present HR reports and metrics to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
- Compile and verify the monthly attendance records of foreign workers and submit the finalised report to the designated vendor.
HR Administration:
- Oversee daily administrative operations, including office management and vendor coordination.
- Manage the procurement of office supplies and services to ensure uninterrupted operations in accordance with the approved budget.
- Maintain and update office policies and administrative procedures.
- Address employee queries and grievances related to administrative issues.
- Support overall compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR-related role with administrative and payroll responsibilities.
- Solid knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in payroll processing and statutory payments (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in Google Workspace and HRIS software.
- High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
