Job Summary

The Senior HR Executive plays a critical role in attracting, retaining, and developing top talent while ensuring a high level of employee engagement and HR compliance. This role is heavily focused on recruitment, with additional responsibilities in talent management, employee engagement, and HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (50%)
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies, including job portals, headhunting, networking, and social media recruitment.
  • Maintain an active talent pipeline to fulfill hiring needs efficiently.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Track recruitment metrics and recommend improvements for hiring strategies
  1. Talent Management & Development (20%)
  • Support the implementation of performance management processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Assist in identifying high-potential employees and creating development plans.
  • Facilitate training and development programs, working with HRDF-claimable training providers.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in career development initiatives, succession planning, and internal mobility programs.
  1. Employee Engagement & Employer Branding (10%)
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys, analyze results, and support action planning.
  • Organize recognition programs and internal communication initiatives.
  • Work with Marketing to enhance employer branding efforts through social media and career fairs.
  1. HR Compliance & Policy Implementation (20%)
  • Ensure HR policies, employment laws, and company regulations are adhered to.
  • Assist in audits, employee relations matters, and workplace investigations when necessary.
  • Support in handling disciplinary cases, grievances, and dispute resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation, contracts, and records in compliance with legal standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with labor laws and advise on necessary HR policy updates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in recruitment, talent management, and HR compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Experience in performance management, training coordination, and employee engagement programs.
  • Understanding of Malaysian labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, Microsoft Office, and recruitment platforms.
