The Data Analyst will support our Procurement team by delivering data-driven insights to optimize purchasing decisions, supplier performance, and cost efficiency. The focus will be on improving procurement strategies through analysis, reporting, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

(1) Data Analysis & Insights

Analyze procurement data (purchase orders, supplier performance, pricing trends, and inventory levels); identify cost-saving opportunities and process inefficiencies; monitor spending patterns and highlight risks; provide actionable insights for strategic sourcing.

(2) Supplier & Vendor Analysis

Evaluate supplier performance regarding pricing, delivery, quality, and reliability; develop supplier scorecards and benchmarking reports; support vendor selection and contract negotiations.

(3)Reporting & Dashboarding

Build and maintain procurement dashboards for cost and KPIs; automate recurring reports for procurement and finance; ensure data accuracy across systems.

(4) Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows; support the implementation of procurement tools; collaborate with finance and operations teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Relevant internship or project experience in data analysis is an advantage

Technical Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas)
Basic to Intermediate SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, aggregations)
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio)
Ability to clean, validate, and analyze large datasets

Analytical Skills

Spend analysis and cost tracking
Supplier performance evaluation
Trend and variance analysis
KPI reporting and dashboard creation

Nice to Have

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, etc.)
Basic knowledge of procurement KPIs and supplier scorecards
Experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations environment
Familiarity with report automation tools
