Requirements & Qualifications :
- Minimum 1 year of working experience as Purchasing / Shipping Clerk
- Minimum qualification of SPM or Diploma.
- Must able to communicate and write in English and Malays
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities:
- Manage import, export, and customs declaration processes.
- Track shipment status and arrival; coordinate with carriers and freight agents; follow up as necessary.
- Communicate with SIRIM agents regarding inspection applications.
- Work with consignees, forwarders, and freight agents to ensure all shipping documents are accurate and complete.
- Update and maintain the weekly shipment schedule.
- Collaborate with suppliers, forwarders, and internal departments to ensure efficient shipping operations.
- Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms.
- Create purchase orders (POs) and handle all system-related operations.
- Provide general administrative support to the department.
- Manage daily document filing and ensure all records are properly maintained.
- Generate and review monthly reports on departmental activities
