Diploma in any field; a business-related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the shipping or logistics industry.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is essential to effectively communicate with a diverse clientele.
- Demonstrated ability to apply sales techniques to identify and pursue new business opportunities in liner container shipping.
- Strong customer relationship management (CRM) skills to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and close deals.
- Comprehensive product knowledge of liner container shipping services and the ability to articulate value propositions to potential customers.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Effective problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Willingness to work onsite in Klang.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the liner container shipping sector, focusing on the Klang region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their shipping needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Utilize sales techniques and negotiation skills to secure profitable deals and achieve sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence using CRM systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activities to effectively position AML Shipping's services.
- Proactively address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support to ensure customer retention.
