Proven experience of 1-2 years in a front-of-house supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a cafe or bakery setting.
- Possess a Secondary School Certificate (SPM), Diploma or equivalent qualification ('O' Level).
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide and motivate a team of front-of-house staff.
- Strong understanding of operational efficiency and best practices in a customer-facing environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Ability to manage risks effectively within the front-of-house operations, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for guests and staff.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base and team members.
- Willingness to work full-time hours in an onsite capacity at our Mont Kiara location.
- A passion for high-quality food and beverages, with an appreciation for homemade cakes and premium drinks.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and remain calm under pressure during peak service hours.
- Able to work on weekends and Public Holiday
- Greet and seat customers warmly, managing reservations and waitlists to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Supervise and train junior front-of-house staff, providing guidance on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, aiming to resolve issues promptly and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the readiness and cleanliness of the dining area, ensuring tables are set correctly and the overall ambiance is welcoming.
- Assist in managing inventory for front-of-house supplies, including menus, cutlery, and linens, and report any shortages.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient communication regarding orders, special requests, and potential delays.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, managing cash and card transactions according to company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the front-of-house operations.
- Responsible for scheduling routine maintenance/servicing of the outlet’s equipment and machinery
- Other duties as and when required by the Management.
