Team Leader - E-Commerce Sales & Marketing
About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Sales & Marketing Team Leader who is ready to take ownership of performance and lead a team to deliver strong, consistent growth.
This role is for someone who understands that sales is not just about targets — it’s about execution, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for driving performance across our e-commerce platforms and distribution channels, while building a team that is aligned, motivated, and focused on results.
- What You Will Be Driving
- Sales Performance & Accountability
- Take full ownership of sales targets and team performance
- Monitor daily performance and ensure targets are met consistently
- Identify gaps quickly and implement corrective actions
- Drive a strong culture of accountability within the team
- Channel & Account Management
- Oversee sales operations across marketplaces (e.g. Shopee, Lazada) and retail channels
- Ensure strong execution to optimise product listings, pricing, campaigns and promotions
- Work closely with creative and operations teams to maximise results
- Support brand partners in improving their market performance
- Stay responsive to market trends and platform dynamics
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Analyse sales data, trends, and conversion performance
- Turn insights into clear action plans
- Continuously optimise performance based on real data
- Track productivity and effectiveness across the team
- Prepare reports and updates for management
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead from the front — set standards through action
- Coach, guide, and develop team members
- Build a strong, motivated, and performance-driven team culture
- Ensure alignment, discipline, and consistency across the team
- Growth & Expansion
- Identify opportunities to grow market share and sales channels
- Strengthen performance of existing brands and accounts
- Contribute to business growth strategies
- Support scaling efforts as the business expands
- Work closely with management to align sales direction with overall business goals
- Requirements
- Proven experience in sales leadership (e-commerce / retail / distribution preferred)
- Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics (Shopee, Lazada, etc.)
- Highly execution-focused with a strong sense of ownership
- Comfortable working with data and performance metrics
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Driven, competitive, and results-oriented mindset
