Provide leadership in project planning, scheduling, implementation, and monitoring until completion.
  • Accountable for achieving project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Oversee and manage the project budget, ensuring spending aligns with approved financial limits.
  • Develop cost-effective strategies and solutions to enable efficient project execution.
  • Ensure all permits, licenses, and legal documentation are obtained and up to date.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to the Project Director and Project Management Office.
  • Make strategic and operational decisions to resolve project challenges and maintain progress.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to avoid delays, cost overruns, or reputational damage.
  • Lead coordination and communication with project teams, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
  • Maintain high levels of stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in earthwork and infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects (> RM100 million) from inception to completion.
  • Experience in manufacturing plant construction will be an added advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, design standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia to facilitate communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project Management Tools, and relevant engineering software.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
