Assistant Contract & Cost Manager

Knowledge in tender contract and to prepare the tenders, including material take-off, preparation of BQs. Review and interpret all relevant drawings, specifications, reports and queries.
- Able to understand the Project contract documents, preparation and submission of interim payment claims, variation orders (VOs), and final accounts in compliance with contract terms.
- Assist in the procurement process by evaluating quotations and preparing comparison summaries for subcontractor selection, handle and monitor subcontractor/vendors cost and claims.
- Support the close-out process by compiling final account documentation, handover records, and contractual deliverables.
- Plan activities and develop contracting strategies to optimize cost, improve efficiency, and maximize value.
- Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, follow-up, customer service skills and an ability to work under high intensity situations.
- Provides leadership and direction, in training and guidance for junior staff ability to utilize judgment and analytical and problem-solving capabilities effectively.
- Able to commit to overtime where necessary.
