Precision Manufacturing Quality Manager New
A leading contract manufacturing organization specializing in precision fabrication and high‑performance components for advanced technology industries including semiconductor, electronics, and industrial applications is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager.
This is a key leadership role responsible for driving end‑to‑end quality excellence across contract manufacturing operations. The position oversees incoming, in‑process, and finished goods quality assurance, ensures full compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements, and leads continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and overall profitability.
As a critical interface between Quality, Production, Engineering, and Customers, this role provides strong leadership, technical expertise, and governance to ensure the consistent delivery of high‑precision products in a dynamic and fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Operations & Compliance
- Manage incoming, in‑process, and finished goods QA/QC activities.
- Ensure inspections and quality buyoff comply with SOPs, work instructions, drawings, and GD&T.
- Maintain FAI samples, inspection records, and quality documentation.
- Ensure products are fully inspected, tested, and verified prior to release.
- Quality Management System & Audits
- Act as Management Representative (MR) for ISO 9001 and related audits.
- Maintain and improve quality systems in line with ISO, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead internal and external audits and follow up on corrective actions.
- Process Improvement & Performance
- Analyze quality data to drive continuous improvement and QA buyoff efficiency.
- Lead root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
- Customer & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Lead customer complaint resolution through closure.
- Prepare quality reports and work closely with Production, Engineering, R&D, and Sales to resolve quality issues.
- Leadership & Governance
- Lead, train, and develop QA engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with IP and confidentiality policies, maintain 5S standards, and prepare management reports.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC within precision fabrication or contract manufacturing environments.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial QA role.
- Experience in metal fabrication, quartz components, or jig & fixture manufacturing is a strong advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, quality systems, and audit requirements.
- Practical experience in process improvement, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
- Proficient in using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Highly detail‑oriented and meticulous.
