Quality Supervisor

Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing Technology).
- Possess 3-5 years of progressive experience in quality control and assurance within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising a team, including performance management and development.
- Proven ability to implement and oversee quality control procedures and standards.
- Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies and problem-solving techniques.
- Experience in conducting training and development sessions for quality-related topics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
- Familiarity with quality assurance systems and documentation.
- Ability to analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality and operational efficiency.
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the quality control department, ensuring adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs and systems to identify and resolve production issues, minimize defects, and enhance product consistency.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of quality control inspectors and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address root causes of quality deviations.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related problems and drive process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection results, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, certifications, and customer-specific quality requirements.
- Manage the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment and instrumentation.
- Contribute to the development and updating of quality control procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
