Proven track record of success in business development, sales, and client relationship management within the transportation and logistics industry.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in a business development or sales leadership role, preferably within a medium-sized company environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, analyze competitor activities, and understand market trends.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a history of successfully closing deals and securing profitable contracts.
  • Strong strategic planning capabilities to develop and execute effective business development strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Proficiency in lead generation techniques and tools to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
  • Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is essential for effective communication with a diverse client base and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM software and other sales enablement tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A Diploma is the minimum educational requirement for this role.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and market share expansion within the transportation and logistics sector.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, networking, and market analysis, focusing on key industry segments.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored logistics solutions to foster client retention and satisfaction.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential new service offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts and service agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with company objectives and profitability goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with business development strategies.
  • Prepare and present compelling business proposals, presentations, and reports to prospective and existing clients, as well as senior management.
