Job Summary:

The Assistant to the Director provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Director to ensure smooth management of day-to-day activities, effective communication, and coordination across departments. This role involves a blend of administrative, organizational, and interpersonal responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an executive assistant or administrative support role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Director’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments and travel arrangements.
  • Act as the point of contact between the Director and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, minutes of meetings, and other confidential documents.
  • Assist in monitoring project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and follow-up actions on behalf of the Director.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings, events, and conferences.
  • Conduct basic research and compile briefing materials as required.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for important and confidential documents.
  • Liaise with various departments to gather updates, prepare summaries, and ensure alignment with the Director’s objectives.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
