As a Business Development Manager, you are to lead the business development and sales for the company.
  • Identifying, targeting, contacting potential customers that align with the company’s target profile.
  • Attend relevant industry exhibitions and conferences to expand connections and discover new leads.
  • Prepare proposals for commercial and industrial clients interested in long-term solar energy solutions.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key client stakeholders to better understand their operations and needs.
  • Collaborate with technical and project delivery teams to help ensure the smooth execution of commitments.
  • Occasionally coordinate with government agencies on permits and project documentation.
  • Keep sales records and client interactions well-documented in the internal CRM system.
skills and requirements
  • Bachelor degree graduate in engineering, business or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in solar business development/ sales
  • Has strong track record in B2B sales
  • Possess critical thinking, decision making skills
  • Energy, drive and resilience associated with long sales cycles
  • Has strong communication skills and able to do proposal presentations
