Job Purpose
The Human Resource (HR) Executive oversees and facilitates HR operations, encompassing recruitment, employee relations, payroll management, training, performance evaluation, and adherence to labor regulations. This position plays a vital role in maintaining efficient HR functions and nurturing a positive organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment & Selection
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Create and revise job descriptions and specifications as needed.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing requirements.
- Employee Relations
- Address employee inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
- Promote an encouraging and inclusive workplace environment.
- Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Support payroll processing and verify its accuracy.
- Administer employee benefits including leave, insurance, and allowances.
- Keep employee records current and well-organized.
- Training & Development
- Assess training requirements and organize development programs.
- Facilitate performance review cycles and career progression for staff.
- HR Administration
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal corporate policies.
- Draft HR-related documents (offer letters, confirmation letters, promotions, warnings, terminations, etc.).
- Maintain HR files, policies, and procedures in an organized manner.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Stay informed about updates in labor legislation and HR practices.
- Produce HR reports (including turnover, leave statistics, and headcount summaries).
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Possession of a Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in an HR position, ideally ranging from 1 to 3 years.
- Solid understanding of the Malaysian Employment Act and associated labor regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS platforms.
- Strong commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Work primarily in an office setting with occasional visits to other sites (if necessary).
- Standard business hours, with flexibility to accommodate urgent HR issues or events.
