About the Role
We are seeking a driven and client-focused Account Manager / Sales Executive to manage key accounts and drive new business growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a strong interest in technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow existing client accounts while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Sell a comprehensive suite of IT solutions including hardware, software, networking, security, and managed services
- Build strong relationships with IT and business stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver tailored solutions to clients
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients
- Support tender processes including RFPs, RFIs, and ITQs
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets
- Monitor market trends and provide input on pricing and go-to-market strategies
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by managing expectations and resolving issues effectively
- Forecast sales performance and track key account metrics
- Work closely with pre-sales and post-sales teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Business, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in a sales or account management role (preferably within IT or technology solutions)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive, “hunter” mindset
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Team player with a collaborative approach
