We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Executive to support the Management Team. This junior executive role focuses on driving business growth—identifying opportunities, following up on leads within the construction sector. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator fluent in English, Chinese, and Malay, with 1-3 years of relevant industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales- Assist the management in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
- Follow up on incoming leads promptly, qualify prospects, and manage the sales pipeline.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with main contractors, consultants, developers, and government agencies.
- Act as a key point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring a professional and responsive experience.
- Coordinate with the engineering and project teams to align client requirements with company capabilities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming infrastructure projects.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, lead status, and client interactions in CRM or reporting systems.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to the Management Team on market conditions and sales progress.
- Support marketing initiatives including project showcases, corporate presentations, and industry event participation.
- Assist in preparing marketing materials that highlight the company’s prestressing expertise and track record.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of work experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the construction, civil engineering, construction materials, or related industries.
- Must be fluent in English, Chinese, and Malay to effectively engage with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the construction industry, contractor procurement processes, and basic understanding of engineering or building materials is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-oriented with a drive to achieve sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
- Organized, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Willingness to travel within Malaysia for client meetings and site visits as required.
