Business event (mice) operations executive

You'll play a key part in bringing our events to life behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute tasks as delegated by the Operation Manager, ensuring alignment with operational plans for business events.
• Assist in coordinating with the Project Management Team and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality deliverables.
• Support the management of client relationships alongside the Operation Manager and Project Management Team throughout the event lifecycle.
• Assist in managing vendor relationships and coordinating logistics, setups, and event execution.
• Provide feedback and updates to the Operation Manager regularly.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum SPM or equivalent education.

Experience Level:

• At least 2 years of experience in the event industry, particularly in the MICE sector.
• Experience in event setup and overall event operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and manage targeted deliverables.

Skills and Competencies:

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking), with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for managing operational tasks.
• Familiarity with MacOS and MS Office; knowledge of SketchUp, CVENT, and CANVA is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges quickly and effectively.

Working Hours and Environment:

• Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
• Occasional cross-state and overseas travel for event projects.

Team Structure:

• The Business Event (MICE) Operation Executive will report to the Operation Manager or Project Directors and collaborate closely with the Project Management Team.
