BRIEF OUTLINE

Reporting directly to General Manager, the position provides sales support to maximize the sales of Company's goods or services in many different settings. The mainly responsibilities are to perform sales efforts and to secure the sales of new system, upgrading system and retrofit system projects as well as sales of specialize products, such as Key Management System, FR with Time Attendance System and etc.

Sales involving X-ray system and Metal Detector will be a plus point/ added advantage.

Other key responsibilities are: -
  • To provide solution to client on new system solution setup, upgrading solution and retrofit solution applications.
  • To participate and involved in Security/ ELV tender proposal.
  • To identifying new markets and creates more opportunities for new potential clients.
  • To track and following up on client’s proposals and opportunities.
  • To perform sales activities such as sales visitation, sales proposal, presentation, quotation and tender.
  • To assist General Manager in the current sales prospects in effort to create more new opportunities and secure new business/ clients.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve targets set by the Company.
  • Main client is mainly end-user from various industry such as Property Development, Industrial factory, MNC Corporation, etc and actively communicate and perform visitation to them.
  • Identify, develop, and articulate the compelling value proposition to prospective Security/ ELV projects & Retrofit projects.
  • Develop contacts and leads and work through the entire sales cycle, including responding to preparing proposal, quotation, product presentation, conduct demo to user, ability in system designing and many more.
  • Provide confident, high-energy presentations and proposals, lead meetings with minimal guidance or supervision.
  • Gather data from the market, existing client or new client to properly qualify business potential to produce reliable business forecasting and contracts.
  • Responsible for up-sell and cross-sell activities into existing clients.
  • Maintain details and strategic plans for key prospects. Provide accurate and timely sales reports and forecast information to General Manager.
  • To support HOD to build up and expand current sales network from various market sector and industries.
  • Make regular support calls (follow-up) as well as visitation on major prospect projects as well as new opportunities.
  • Also, to maintain and developing relationships with client though various activities such as Product Technology Update presentation, preparation of spec-in for tenders, solution and system design consultancy and not forgetting frequent visitation.

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
  • Negotiating variations in products, price, delivery and specifications with HOD.
  • Prepare Weekly Sales activities & Sales pipeline reports to HOD.
  • Make effective presentations, attend site survey, gaining a clear understanding of clients' businesses and requirements, understands company’s range of products and preparation of design solution for respective clients, be it a Maintenance or Retrofit project.
  • Provides a professional, efficient and friendly service with co-workers and clients. Also making preparation of accurate cost calculations, and providing Budgetary Proposal, if necessary.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Constantly improve in product knowledge.
  • Improve in-dept marketing and solution proposal preparation (including budgetary).
  • Improve in technical skills and system solution design.
  • Improve in efficient presentation

SKILLS REQUIREMENT:-

Proficiency in the following:-
  • MS Office: Power Point, Word & Excel, Internet, email and website technology skill.
  • Sales Oriented mind-set and proactively behavior.
  • Attention to detail and the Ability to cope with work pressure.
  • Good Presentation & PR Communication skills.
  • Added Value if have knowledge in Security Systems Integration.
  • Good Communication Skills in English (ability to write grammatically correct English and spoken), Good Coordination skills and Good Customer Service skills.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT:-
  • Minimum Diploma / Degree in Sales & Marketing, Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience/ sales experience in field related to Security/ ELV Systems will be advantage, or equivalent.
  • Highly organized team player; able to prioritize own tasks and work rapidly on multiple simultaneous projects/ tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Passion for security and technology will be added value, and a willingness to continually demonstrate that passion.
  • Ability to offer exceptional customer service (Customer Service Orientation).
  • Efficiency in processing paperwork and consistency in quality of document production and filing.
  • A team player and at the same time able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess initiative, resourcefulness and willingness to travel.
