About the Role

We’re looking for a Content and Marketing Manager to join our global marketing team in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting to our Marketing Director in Norway, you’ll play a vital role in shaping Metizoft’s content strategy for the APAC region—crafting stories that matter, building engagement, and helping us lead the conversation on maritime sustainability.

What You’ll Do- Develop and execute a content strategy for APAC, using customer insights, industry trends, and regulatory updates to create relevant, engaging content.
- Align all content with Metizoft’s global marketing objectives, ensuring consistency while adapting for local and cultural relevance.
- Create high-quality, localized and global content—blog posts, case studies, social media, visuals, and website copy—that drives brand awareness and lead generation.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and the global marketing team to produce technically accurate, compelling content that addresses real customer needs.
- Manage the editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content and campaign assets.
- Analyze content performance and use data-driven insights to continuously improve our messaging and impact.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing, content creation, and maritime sustainability.
- Support the sales and business development team in APAC by designing and developing impactful brochures, presentation slides, exhibition booth materials, and other marketing collateral.
- Work closely with regional sales agents to create tailored marketing materials—both physical and digital—for each local territory, ensuring content is adapted and translated into the relevant local languages to maximize reach and engagement.
- Regional Marketing Representation:
Be the main marketing representative for Metizoft in the APAC region, acting as the bridge between our global strategy and local market needs. You’ll ensure all regional marketing initiatives align with Metizoft’s brand guidelines and values, safeguarding our brand identity and reputation across diverse markets.
- Collaboration & Influence:
Work closely with the global marketing team and regional stakeholders to coordinate marketing efforts, share APAC market insights, and influence global campaigns. You’ll collaborate with sales, business development, and regional partners to maximize the impact of every initiative.
- Performance Tracking & Optimisation:
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of all content and marketing activities using tools like HubSpot and Google Analytics. You’ll provide regular reports on key metrics and leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimize our content strategy and marketing performance in the APAC region.
- Professional & Personal Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or digital marketing—ideally with exposure to B2B or technical industries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional APAC languages is a plus.
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a passion for storytelling.
- Experience with SEO, social media, and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, WordPress).
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
