As part of their continued focus on regional growth, they are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to lead the brand and commercial marketing agenda for key categories in the Singapore market.

About the Role

This role oversees the marketing operations and brand performance of key product categories in Singapore, while being based in Malaysia. You will be responsible for annual brand planning, consumer engagement strategy, agency partnerships, and campaign execution.

You will also lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, trade marketing, digital, and ecommerce teams to achieve commercial success in the Singapore market. The role reports to a senior regional marketing leader and manages a small team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute annual brand and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and consumer needs.
  • Lead integrated 360° marketing campaigns covering communication, media, sampling, trade marketing, CRM, and ecommerce.
  • Partner with commercial and sales teams to develop go-to-market plans and channel-specific strategies.
  • Analyze brand, consumer, and market trends to uncover insights that inform portfolio decisions and campaign direction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality, on-brand creative and media execution.
  • Own brand health metrics, campaign performance, and marketing ROI.
  • Manage category marketing budgets and optimize spend for effectiveness.
  • Provide team leadership, coaching, and performance management.
  • Represent Singapore marketing priorities in commercial planning, business reviews, and cross-functional meetings.
Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of FMCG brand marketing experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong experience in Singapore market marketing execution and consumer understanding.
  • Solid exposure to digital, ecommerce, and shopper marketing platforms (e.g. Shopee, Lazada).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven ability to translate insights into actionable brand plans and executions.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including brand P&L and budget ownership.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
