About the Role

We’re looking for a capable and detail-oriented Senior Account & HR Executive to join our team. In this dual-role position, you'll be part of management team - lead a team and take ownership of the full set of accounts, ensure timely financial reporting, cost analysis and handle day-to-day HR operations—from payroll to employee records and statutory submissions.

What You’ll Be Doing

Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full set of accounts, including timely monthly and year-end closings.
  • Prepare and submit financial and management reports in accordance with internal and statutory timelines.
  • Perform inter-company and bank reconciliations, as well as monthly schedules (e.g. fixed assets, accruals, prepayments).
  • Ensure all accounting records and reports comply with accounting standards, internal policies, and statutory regulations.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities for audits and statutory reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records in the AutoCount Accounting System.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior accounting team members if required.

HR Responsibilities:

  • Handle recruitment coordination, including job postings, interview scheduling, and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including leave, attendance, and personal files.
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll, ensuring accurate statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, EIS, etc.).
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, employee engagement activities, and compliance matters.
  • Liaise with government bodies and external partners on HR and payroll-related issues.
  • Support office administration and general HR operations as needed.
  • Diploma/Degree or experienced in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management or any related industry (professional accounting certification is a plus)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting (including full set) and exposure to HR/payroll
  • Good command of Mandarin (spoken & written) is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCount, Microsoft Excel, and Word
  • Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive working attitude
  • Able to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
