Quantity Surveyor - Klang

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and procurement processes
• Proficient in taking measurements, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and cost estimation
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment

• Review tender documents and prepare BOQ
• Request quotations for all trades
• Estimate project costs (materials, labor, subcontractors)POST CONTRACT

• Prepare material order list
• Evaluate sub-contractors quotes and recommend awards
• Submit materials samples and alternatives (if needed)
• Prepare main and sub-contractors claims
• Set and manage budgets for materials and payments
• Track drawing changes for Variation Orders (VO)
• Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors and consultants
• Monitor progress and maintain documentation
• Track and manage material deliveries
• Liaise with client, site managers and engineers
• Visit site for measurements and progress checks
• Prepare final accounts
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned
