Sales Manager (Penang, Malaysia)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Automation Engineering, or related fields, recognized by Malaysian authorities (MQA or local universities).
• Experience in mechanical or automation equipment sales; experience in multinational companies preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and office software, capable of preparing proposals, analyzing data, and creating quotations independently.
• Fluent in English and Malay; knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
• Professional, stress-tolerant, and team-oriented.
• Valid work status in Malaysia (citizen / permanent resident / valid work permit), able to travel for short-term assignments.
• Recognized English proficiency certificate such as MUET, IELTS, or TOEFL
• At least 5 years of sales experience in automation or the industrial field

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain client relationships in Penang and Northern Malaysia (Perak, Kedah, Perlis).
• Provide technical consultation, product selection support, and quotation preparation.
• Manage projects throughout their lifecycle, coordinating internal technical teams to ensure timely delivery and acceptance.
• Gather market intelligence and customer requirements, and submit regular sales analysis and strategy recommendations.
• Identify project risks and ensure smooth project completion.
