Job Summary

The Commis / Kitchen Helper supports the kitchen team in basic food preparation, cleaning duties, and general kitchen operations. This role is suitable for entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment.

• Assist in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
• Support chefs in daily kitchen operations and service preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils at all times.
• Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
• Assist in receiving and organizing stock deliveries.
• Maintain food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Support dishwashing and general cleaning duties when required.
• Assist in closing and cleaning procedures after service.
