Senior Contract Executive

Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in contract administration, preferably in property development or main contractor environment.
- Solid knowledge of contract law, construction contracts (e.g., PAM, CIDB, PWD),tender processes, and cost control management.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant QS or contract software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft – added advantage).
- Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage (for liaising with certain vendors/subcontractors).
- Excellent time management with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Responsible, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Own transport and willing to travel to project sites when required.
- Manage the full spectrum of contract administration from pre-contract to post-contract stages.
- Handle tender processes including preparation of tender documents, tender evaluations, negotiations, and award recommendations.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and consultant agreements ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and project specifications.
- Prepare, review, and verify Bills of Quantities (BQ), costing, and pricing for tenders and projects.
- Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and cash flow forecasts to ensure financial efficiency.
- Evaluate and process progress claims, variation orders (VO), extension of time (EOT)claims, final accounts, and settlement of disputes.
- Collaborate closely with the site team, project managers, consultants, and sub contractors to ensure smooth contract execution.
- Manage procurement for construction materials, subcontractors, and services to achieve cost-effective sourcing.
- Track contractual obligations, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements.
- Attend project meetings, site valuation, and contract review sessions.
- Assist in dispute resolution, claims handling, and contract risk management.
- Maintain proper contract documentation, records, and reports for management review
