Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee the operations of their game rooms in Malaysia. This role involves strategic leadership, operational oversight, and team management to ensure high performance, customer satisfaction, and business growth.The ideal candidate will drive excellence in entertainment delivery, manage multi-site operations, and foster a vibrant, customer-focused culture while traveling between locations as needed.
Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese is a plus) is essential, as this role requires frequent communication with the Hong Kong team.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement regional business strategies to align with company goals, focusing on revenue growth, customer engagement, and market expansion in the gaming and entertainment sector.
- Oversee daily operations of game rooms, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, staff scheduling, and compliance with local regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop teams across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of customer service, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze performance metrics, sales data, and customer feedback to identify trends, optimize operations, and drive continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, local partners, and stakeholders to secure entertainment acts, gaming equipment, and promotional opportunities.
- Manage budgets, negotiate contracts with suppliers and performers, and ensure all activities stay within financial guidelines.
- Conduct regular site visits to Hong Kong and Malaysia locations to monitor performance, provide coaching, and resolve any operational issues.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote game room events, oversee advertising materials, and enhance brand visibility in both markets.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and gaming industry standards, including age-appropriate content and responsible entertainment practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Entertainment Management, or a related field.
- Proficient in both English and Chinese (Cantonese is a plus)
- 8+ years of experience in a managerial role within the entertainment, gaming, or hospitality industry, preferably with multi-site or regional oversight.
- Proven track record of achieving operational targets, driving revenue, and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of the Malaysia entertainment market.
- Willingness to travel frequently between Hong Kong and Malaysia.
