Qualifications
  • Hotel Management or Business Degree preferred
  • Good communication skills (verbal and listening and writing)
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year managerial or 2-year supervisory experience in hotel front office operations
  • Candidates with experience in Le Meridien or Marriott International properties are preferred
  • Able to perform shift works

Schedule:

  • Rotational shift

Job Summary: Represent the management and act on behalf especially in guest relations. Responsible for the smooth operation of the Front Office department at all time. Ensuring that highest level of efficiency and guest satisfaction are achieved whilst maximizing rooms and other related revenue.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
  • Provides warm greetings and exceptional customer service to all guests.
  • Demonstrates self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Motivates and encourages associates to solve guest and employee related concerns.
  • Understands the brand's service culture.
  • Sets service expectations for all guests internally and externally.
  • Takes ownership of a guest complaint/problem until IT is resolved or it has been addressed by the appropriate manager or associate.
  • Follow up to ensure complaints have been addressed to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Develops a relationship with all guests to build repeated clientele internally and externally.
  • Assist to drive the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program for room guests.
  • Trains associates and ensure compliance to the Brand Standards Audit for Front Office.
  • Is a “brand ambassador” at all times and ensures brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.
  • Inspect rooms assigned to VIP guests and ensure those rooms are in good condition with amenities prior to guests’ arrival.
