FP&A Manager / Assistant Manager
Overview
We are seeking an FP&A Manager/Assistant Manager to join our team in the FMCG and pharmaceutical sector. This role will be instrumental in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support business growth and strategic initiatives.The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to provide insights that improve decision-making and overall financial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with company goals.
- Prepare and deliver regular financial reports, variance analyses, and business performance reviews to management.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Partner with operational and functional teams to understand business drivers, improve financial outcomes, and support strategic initiatives.
- Develop, refine, and maintain financial models, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support strategic projects, including scenario planning, investment analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvements in financial planning, reporting, and data management to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent are an advantage).
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in FP/&A, management reporting, or related finance roles (experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is preferred for Manager level).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP/BI tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinking with a strong business acumen.
