Procurement Manager

• Education:

• Experience:

Minimum 3 to 5 years Sourcing/ Procurement experience in one or more of the categories below.

• Strong problem-solving & coordination between procurement, engineering, production, and quality teams
• Negotiation & contract management (frame agreements, pricing mechanisms, payment terms)
• Supplier development & relationship management
• Risk control (single-source mitigation, raw material volatility, allocation planning)
• Cross-functional communication (internal stakeholders + external suppliers)
• Project management for NPI sourcing and supplier transitions
• Attention to detail for quality requirements
• Willing to travel as required by category (low to high, up to 30%)

• Develop and maintain a reliable global and local supplier base.
• Conduct price negotiations, cost analysis, and contract management to drive cost efficiencies.
• Perform periodic supplier audits focusing on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD).

• Manage supplier performance (OTD, PPM, cost reduction) using SAP/SRM/OA systems
• Negotiate frame agreements, pricing mechanisms, and liability clauses
• Lead root cause analysis and issue 8D corrective action reports
• Drive cost optimization and supplier development
• Collaborate with engineering on Design for Manufacturing (DFM)

• SAP / SRM / OA systems for purchasing and supplier tracking
• Advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, cost analysis)
• Quality tools: 8D reports, fishbone diagram, 5-Why analysis
• Metrology: Calipers, micrometers, Digital Altimiters (if electronic), CMM

• Machined components, tooling, fixtures, CNC parts, prototypes.

• Enclosures, cabinets, brackets, chassis, frames, panels.

• Bare PCBs, electronic components, SMT/through-hole assembly.

• Spare parts, consumables, mechanical/electrical/civil maintenance contractors.
