As a Senior Account Executive, you will be the key point of contact for a portfolio of our valued Japanese clients. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of their accounting needs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.This role is ideal for a proactive professional who is adept at problem-solving and has a passion for building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Full Set Accounting: Handle the full spectrum of accounting responsibilities, including data entry, bank reconciliation, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll for a portfolio of Japanese clients.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and finalize accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and in a format suitable for parent companies in Japan.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main liaison for your clients, addressing their inquiries, providing expert advice, and ensuring their accounting needs are met with a high level of satisfaction
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve internal accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentorship: Guide and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an accounting firm environment handling outsourced accounts.
- Proficiency in handling a full set of accounts is essential.
- A strong understanding of Malaysian financial and tax regulations (MFRS, Income Tax Act, SST/GST) is a must.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, client-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
