This role is critical in delivering actionable financial insights to help drive decision-making in a dynamic and project-centric EPCC environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Present financial performance insights to senior management for decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of board papers and investor presentations, where necessary.

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts across departments and projects.
• Collaborate with project teams and department heads to gather accurate financial data.
• Track actual performance against budget and highlight key variances.

• Monitor project budgets, costs incurred, and profit margins.
• Analyze project profitability and provide timely financial insights on cost trends, overrun risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Liaise with project managers and procurement teams on cost control and contract performance.

• Support strategic financial planning, scenario analysis, and business modelling.
• Provide analytical support for pricing strategies, tender evaluations, and investment proposals.

• Ensure all reports comply with MFRS and Bursa Malaysia reporting requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary schedules and justifications.
• Assist in maintaining financial controls, processes, and documentation for compliance.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in management accounting, preferably in an EPCC, construction, or project-based company.
• Strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Good knowledge of MFRS and Malaysian regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
