Business Development Manager
We are currently sourcing for a Business Development Manager to join our client’s high-performing team. The successful candidate will take the lead in driving strategic growth initiatives within the Data Center segment, engaging key stakeholders, and positioning cutting-edge engineering solutions to meet evolving market demands.
Reporting To: Vice President – Data Center Segment
Your Role and Responsibilities
This is a Sales position. In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience to create market demand and interest in specific features or products. On a day-to-day basis, you will identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting, and educating the target audience about the company's products and services.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Implementing proactive promotional activities, including technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars, educational materials, and technical development of projects and solutions for the customer target group.
- Creating plans for target audience visits and conducting regular status reviews, including analyzing and deriving insights from these visits.
- Establishing and maintaining effective long-term relationships with target group customers to understand their needs and ensure they are well-informed about the products, systems, services, features, and benefits.
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and a strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques.
- Providing customer support by responding to technical questions and performing electrical calculations for design institutes and technical consultants.
- Communicating with the target audience in accordance with Litech’s offerings and strategic direction.
- Conducting or organizing appropriate training interventions to educate the target audience on the products, systems, services, and offerings.
- Managing administrative tasks related to technical promotion processes and creating reports based on the organization’s needs.
- Required to meet clients on-site, attend job site walkthroughs, and participate in trade shows or industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- More than 5 years of experience in sales support and business development, particularly in dealing with consultants/design parties and assisting in the tendering process (Specification).
- Strong relationships or networks with M&E consultants, and industry knowledge in Data Centers, General Industry, or Semiconductors is preferable.
- Good negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with a positive attitude; a team player who is self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin
