Minimum 9 years of relevant HR experience, with strong exposure to HR operations, preferably within banking, shared services, or large organisations.
  • Proven experience in managing HR operational functions and leading teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Preferably with experience in HR systems (e.g., Workday or equivalent) and HR analytics/reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with a strong command of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement with senior leaders.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
  • An effective team player with a proven ability to work collaboratively across all levels

  1. HR Operations, Service Delivery & Vendor Management
  • Lead and manage the full spectrum of HR operations, including HR administration, onboarding/offboarding, employee records, and lifecycle processes.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of HR services in line with defined service standards and business expectations.
  • Oversee employee data management and administration in HR system (Workday), data integrity, reporting, and analytics to support reporting and/or informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with payroll team to ensure pay elements are accurately and timely updated in Workday for payroll processing.
  • Manage and monitor third-party HR vendors and service providers to ensure service quality, compliance, and contractual obligations are met.
  • 2. Workforce Operations Support
  • Oversee workforce operations, including manpower planning coordination.
  • Manage foreign worker employment processes, including work permits, renewals, and compliance with immigration regulations.
  1. Policy, Compliance & Governance
  • Review, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with local labour laws, statutory requirements, and Group HR guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including employment laws, audits, and internal governance standards.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to controls.
  1. Stakeholder & Business Partnership
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, functional teams, and senior stakeholders to address operational HR needs and resolve employee-related matters.
  • Provide advisory on HR operational practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  1. Process Improvement & Transformation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline HR processes, enhance efficiency, and improve employee experience.
  • Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities in HR operations and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Support HR transformation projects, including digitalisation and process standardisation.
