HR Generalist – HOUZS Venture Holdings
Location: Menara Suezcap Bangsar South / HQ Office (adjascent to Univerisiti Station)Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: RM 3,000 – RM 4,000 (based on experience)
Working Days: Mondays to Fridays - 9am to 6pm.

Role Overview
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, and HR administration. This role ensures smooth HR operations, compliance with labour laws, and supports business growth through effective people management.
This position requires occasional travel within the KL region to support warehouse and operational offices.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage full recruitment cycle (job posting, screening, interviews, onboarding)
- Coordinate with hiring managers on manpower planning
- Support hiring needs across HQ, warehouse, and operations teams
- Payroll & HR Administration
- Handle payroll processing, attendance, leave, and claims
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, etc.)
- Employee Relations
- Address employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters
- Conduct site visits to warehouses/operations offices to support employee engagement
- Foster a positive and productive work culture across all locations
- HR Policies & Compliance
- Implement and update HR policies and SOPs
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and company policies
- Monitor HR practices across different locations to ensure consistency
- Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs
- Conduct onboarding and training sessions across HQ and site locations
Skills & Competencies
Must-Have- Good command of Mandrin, English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
- Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently
- Willing to travel within Klang Valley / KL region
- HR Operations (Recruitment, payroll, employee lifecycle)
- Labour Law Knowledge (Employment Act & statutory compliance)
- HR Systems & Documentation - Infotech.
- Microsoft Office / Google Sheets (basic formulas, tracking)
- Experience handling multi-site operations (HQ + warehouse)
- Knowledge in KPI setting / performance management
- Exposure to HR analytics
