about the job
They are currently looking for a Senior Payroll Executive to join their team in KL. The primary purpose of which is to ensure all services in scope deliver a high-quality product within agreed SLA’s. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:-
- Payroll Processing
- Accurately process monthly and off-cycle payrolls, including final pay and reimbursements, in compliance with Malaysian laws (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure payroll processes comply with Malaysian statutory requirements (e.g. LHDN, KWSP, PERKESO), maintain accurate records, and support audit and reporting obligations.
- Stakeholder Support
- Act as the main contact for payroll queries, resolve issues, advise on statutory matters, and safeguard payroll data privacy under the Malaysian PDPA.
- Process Improvement
- Recommend process enhancements, support system updates, and help document payroll procedures to ensure legal compliance and efficiency.
- Additional Duties
- Support tax reporting (e.g. EA forms), collaborate with other teams on payroll/invoicing, and perform related tasks in line with Malaysian employment standards.

You will be reporting directly to the Team Leader, working closely with other team members.
skills & experience required
To be the ideal candidate for this role, you will come with at least 3 years of relevant experience. You have strong communication skills, knowledge of HR policies, ability to multitask independently, and experience with Hong Kong payroll will be a plus.
