Structural Engineer (Civil & Structural Design)

We are seeking a dedicated and technically strong Structural Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the structural design, analysis and coordination of various building and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete and steel structures
- Prepare structural calculations, technical reports and detailed design documentation
- Develop and review structural drawings in compliance with design codes and project specifications
- Lead and participate in meetings with clients, consultants and contractors
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design compliance and construction quality
- Review and endorse contractors’ shop drawings, method statements and material submissions
- Coordinate with architects, M&E engineers and other consultants to ensure smooth project execution
- Ensure all designs meet local authority requirements, safety regulations and industry standards
- Support project delivery within agreed timelines and budgets
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in structural analysis and design consultancy
- Strong expertise in steel structure design and reinforced concrete design
- Experience in high-rise building projects is highly advantageous
- Exposure to BIM modelling and coordination is an added advantage
- Proficient in engineering and drafting software such as AutoCAD, ESTEEM, TEKLA or STAAD.Pro
- Strong understanding of structural design codes and standards
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage (especially for liaising with China/Taiwan-based clients)
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
