about the job
As a Project Manager, you will be the primary lead for the structural and architectural scope of a major data center development. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the package, ensuring that steelworks, metal installations, and architectural finishes meet the rigorous standards of international hyperscale clients.
key responsibilities:
- Site Leadership: Oversee the installation of structural steel, metalwork, and architectural fencing systems on-site.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact between the main contractor, consultants, and the internal fabrication team.
- Project Controls: Monitor project timelines, budgetary constraints, and resource allocation to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure all works comply with Data Center-specific safety protocols and high-tier quality benchmarks.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify technical bottlenecks in steel/metal assembly and provide immediate on-site solutions.
requirements:
- A Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in project management, specifically within steel/metal structures or large-scale industrial projects.
- Prior experience in Data Center projects is highly advantageous.
- Strong familiarity with Johor-based authorities and site regulations.
