JOB PURPOSE

Plan, analyse, execute and monitor the tasks of Innovation, Delivery & Assurance services by managing key projects, and partnerships, driving innovation and overseeing technology architecture according to digital governance. This includes driving technology adoption through collaboration and change management with cross-functional teams to ensure project completion and product sustainability.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Partnership Management
  • Plan and execute strategic partnerships with external organisations, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure collaboration and successful outcomes.
  • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align partnership activities with organisational objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of partnerships, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement
Project Management
  • Analyse, execute and monitor the project management processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and make adjustments as needed.
Innovation
  • Plan and execute innovation within the organisation.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends relevant to the industry.
  • Foster an environment that encourages creativity and experimentation.
  • Facilitate ideation sessions and manage the innovation pipeline.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and implement innovative solutions and products.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of innovation initiatives.
Technology Architecture
  • Align technology architecture with business objectives, ensuring compliance with digital governance.
  • Execute technology roadmap, prioritizing initiatives and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging technologies with potential to benefit the organisation.
Governance
  • Execute governance frameworks for digital innovation and technology projects.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Enforce policies, procedures, and best practices for project management and technology adoption.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to governance standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on governance-related matters.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to governance and compliance.
Technology Adoption and Change Management
  • Champion the use of digital technologies across the organization, which involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing training and support, and communicating the benefits of technology adoption.
  • Execute digital change management strategy aligned with organisational goals.
  • Identify and assess the impact of digital initiatives on people, processes, and technology.
  • Define clear objectives, milestones, and success criteria for the change management process.

Secretariat

Act as secretariat for the University Digital Committee, Digital Technical Committee and Digital Department meetings by:

  1. Scheduling periodical meetings
  2. Engaging with stakeholders
  3. Monitoring and consolidating all change requests for department reports to improve the overall service delivery
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Recognised Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in relevant field.
  • Professional qualification and advanced degree would be an added advantage.
  • Fair written and verbal communication skills.
